DMW Detailing - Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing DMW Detailing for your mobile auto detailing and ceramic coating needs. We are committed to providing top-quality service, and we appreciate your business. Below are the terms and conditions that apply to all services. Please read them carefully as they ensure clear expectations and protect both your rights and ours.

By booking an appointment with DMW Detailing, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To secure your appointment, we require a non-refundable $30 deposit. This deposit is deducted from your final service cost and is transferable to a rescheduled appointment if needed. If you must cancel or reschedule, we ask that you notify us within a reasonable time frame, and we will happily transfer your deposit to a new appointment date. If the deposit is not paid before the scheduled service, it will be charged at the time of payment.

A $30 fee will be charged to clients who cancel within 24 hours of the appointment if the deposit has not been paid in advance.

Vehicle Terms

Before the service begins, please remove all personal items, valuables, and anything else from your vehicle. DMW Detailing will not be responsible for moving any personal belongings, and for safety reasons, we cannot clean areas that contain personal items. If our technicians are required to wait more than 15 minutes for you to clear your vehicle, we reserve the right to charge for the additional time.

Excessive trash or debris in your vehicle may result in a $50 trash removal fee at our discretion. If your vehicle has a significant amount of trash, it should be removed before our arrival.

We kindly ask that you clear the glove compartment and armrest storage areas. We cannot clean areas with personal belongings to avoid interfering with your property.

For safety reasons, car seats and booster seats should be removed before we arrive. If a seat is left in the vehicle, we will clean around it to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee satisfaction. We will not install or uninstall car seats.

DMW Detailing reserves the right to adjust the pricing based on the condition of your vehicle and the estimated time it will take to complete the service. We will notify you of any additional charges before starting the work. Our prices may vary depending on the specific condition of the vehicle. Additional fees may apply for services involving pet hair, stains, odors, mold, or other hazardous materials.

Pet Hair & Sand Removal
While we aim to remove pet hair and sand as effectively as possible, we cannot guarantee full removal with standard vacuuming. However, we will always make our best effort to reduce their appearance.

Stains & Odors
We cannot guarantee the removal of all stains and odors. While we will do our best to address them using professional-grade tools and chemicals, some stains may be permanent, especially in upholstery, carpets, and seatbelts. Odor removal may require ozone treatment, which is not included in all service packages.

Windows
We do our best to clean windows; however, temperature and other conditions can cause film or streaks. If this occurs, we recommend wiping the windows with a microfiber towel after the car has cooled.

Vehicle Interior
We are not responsible for damage to heavily soiled interior parts, such as buttons or knobs that have caked-on dirt or grime. Cleaning such components may result in the loss of their markings.

The headliner will be cleaned carefully, but some stains may remain. Excessive cleaning may damage the glue, causing the headliner to sag over time. We will not clean headliners that appear too fragile during the pre-inspection.

We cannot guarantee the complete removal of baked-on brake dust or stains from wheels. Some wheels may require repairs or replacement.

Exterior Trim
Plastic trim pieces may not be fully restored and could need replacement if they are beyond cleaning. We will always attempt to restore them to their original color but cannot guarantee perfect results.

Wax, Sealant, & Coating Care
Proper care of wax, sealant, or ceramic coatings is essential for maintaining their effectiveness. We recommend using safe hand washing techniques to preserve their durability.

On-Site Service Terms

Full payment is due on the day the service is completed. You will receive several reminders to make this payment.

If a client repeatedly cancels or reschedules appointments, we reserve the right to require full payment upfront for future services. We may refuse service if payment or scheduling terms are not respected.

We may adjust booking times due to weather conditions, staff health issues, or equipment failure. Whenever possible, we will inform clients of any necessary changes.

For safety reasons, please maintain a distance of at least 10-15 feet from the work area. If you need to speak with the technician during the service, please ensure they are aware of your presence.

It is the client's responsibility to disclose the condition of the vehicle before the appointment. If hazardous materials such as mold, mildew, or biological waste are found upon arrival, we reserve the right to request partial payment before proceeding with the service, and may choose not to complete the job.

Photo & Video Consent

By booking services with DMW Detailing, you grant us the right to take and share photos and videos of your vehicle before, during, and after the service. These images may be used for marketing purposes on our website and social media platforms. We will never identify you by name or share personal information like license plates or addresses without your permission. If you have concerns about this, please inform us prior to service.

If you do not consent to the use of your vehicle's images for marketing, please sign below:

Service Guarantee

If it is clear that DMW Detailing did not fulfill the service as agreed, or if there is a clear issue with the craftsmanship, we will address the problem at no additional cost. Any mistakes must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Failure to do so may limit our ability to make corrections. If the service was unsatisfactory, you are entitled to a refund or redo of the unsatisfactory portion.

Refunds or redoing services will not be offered after unauthorized work is performed.

Additional Services
If additional services are required beyond the agreed-upon work, refusal to authorize them may invalidate the service guarantee.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of your service. Failure to pay invalidates the service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at DMW Detailing’s discretion.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the pre-inspection and post-inspection details of their vehicle. If no discrepancies are reported, the right to a refund is forfeited.

Claims regarding unsatisfactory work must be submitted within 24 hours of completion via email, with photographic evidence attached. Failure to disclose issues like stains, odors, hazardous materials, or damage at the time of booking may void the service guarantee.

General Terms

The client agrees to pay all fees as outlined. Any unpaid invoices may result in collection actions, including attorney fees, with interest at 18% per year.

By accepting the service, the client acknowledges that the work is complete and satisfactory. Any disputes about the invoice must be communicated in writing within three days. After this time, the invoice will be deemed accepted.

DMW Detailing is not responsible for damage or loss resulting from fire, theft, accidents, or other factors beyond our control.

Estimates & Vehicle Condition

Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time and are valid for 30 days. Vehicle condition will be assessed during the pre-inspection, and the client must clarify expectations. DMW Detailing reserves the right to refuse service if the vehicle is in a condition that could cause damage or affect service quality.
